Warriors Rugby Open Day & Season Kick-off on September 12

The new rugby season is just around the corner! On Saturday, September 12, Wassenaar Warriors will officially kick off the season with a festive Super Saturday, including an open day for anyone interested in discovering rugby and getting to know the club.

In the morning, coaches and Warriors players will be ready to welcome boys and girls and their parents. No previous experience is required: children aged five and up can enjoy a fun and accessible introduction to rugby. The youngest participants will play flag rugby, a non-contact form of the sport.

From 11:00 a.m., friendly matches will take place featuring the Cubs (U14), Juniors (U16) and Colts (U18). The Warriors will welcome visiting teams from DIOK and Germany for a day of competitive but friendly rugby.

It promises to be a fun and sporty day, and a great opportunity for families looking to introduce their children to rugby and experience the welcoming and international atmosphere at Wassenaar Warriors.
