Wassenaar Warriors Benjis win Jan van Burg Tournament
SportThe Benjis from Wassenaar Warriors were unstoppable last Saturday at the Jan van Burg Tournament in Hoek van Holland, claiming first place after an exciting day full of rugby.
The Minis Warriors also made a big impression, reaching the final against Minis from Haagsche Rugby Club and securing an impressive second place.
The tournament, held every year by Rugby Club Hoek van Holland, honors the club’s founder Jan van Burg, who started the club in 1974. It’s a fun and competitive day for kids aged 8 to 12, and their parents of course.
With the Benjis bringing home gold and the Minis silver, it was a fantastic weekend for the Warriors from Wassenaar.
