Discover Rugby at Wassenaar Warriors Open Morning
SportWassenaar Warriors International Rugby Club is opening its doors to children and youth interested in discovering the sport of rugby. On Saturday, September 6, the club will host an Open Morning at its accommodation on Charlottestraat 7 in Wassenaar.
The event, which runs from 09:30 to 12:00, offers children and teenagers aged 6 to 17, along with their parents, the chance to meet players and coaches, try out rugby in a friendly environment, and learn more about the club’s activities.
The Open Morning is suitable for both beginners who have never played rugby before and experienced young players who want to further develop their skills.
Wassenaar Warriors place strong emphasis on player development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play. With experienced coaches and a welcoming international community, the club provides opportunities for players of all levels and abilities.
“No prior experience is needed,” a club spokesperson explained. “We encourage children to simply come in sportswear, and with a mouthguard if they have one, and give rugby a try.”
The club, which celebrates international rugby culture, is known for its lively community spirit and commitment to fostering both skills and values on and off the field.
