Super Rugby Saturday at Wassenaar Warriors on April 11

Saturday, April 11, promises to be a fun and action-packed day at the Wassenaar Warriors rugby grounds, featuring an open morning for children aged 5 to 12 and a series of exciting youth finals on the club’s home pitch.

Families are warmly invited to discover the excitement of rugby during the Open Rugby Morning, taking place from 9:30 to 12:00. The event provides a welcoming and accessible introduction to the sport, with no prior experience required. Children can enjoy a fun-filled and active morning, including a bouncy castle and an obstacle course. The youngest participants will be introduced to flag rugby, a non-contact version of the game.

The day continues with high-level youth rugby, as several teams take to the field for their finals. Spectators will have the opportunity to cheer on the Warriors Cubs (U14), the Juniors Randstad Rangers (U16), and the West Coast Warriors Colts 1 (U18). The first match kicks off at 11:00 a.m., with the Colts 1 team closing the day in their final against Amstelveense Rugby Club at 2:30 p.m.
