Royal Conservatoire Jazz Choir on Sunday April 10th in Cultureel

This coming Sunday afternoon at 15.00 hrs PJPJ a concert will be given by the jazz choir of the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague in the Cultureel Centrum in Voorschoten, organised by PJPJ (Podium Jong Professionals Jazz). This jazz choir was founded as long ago as 2009 by Anka Koziel, who is now head lecturer in jazz vocals at the conservatoire and will lead the choir in this concert. The choir comprises chiefly first and second year students and they will be accompanied by a trio comprising pianist Julien Palluel, bassist Shashank Das and drummer Julian Escobar Aguirre. The choir will sing a varied mix of jazz standards but there will also be duets and solo performances and a small musical surprise. This Sunday afternoon concert is very suitable for children, who can attend free of charge, as can PJPJ donors and sponsors. Entry for others is 7 euros per person.
