PJPJ concert with 10 musicians on Saturday March 19th in
Cultureel Centrum Voorschoten

On Saturday March 19th in het Cultureel Centrum in Voorschoten PJPJ (Podium Jong Professionals Jazz) is organising a unique concert featuring no fewer than 10 musicians, 9 of them students at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Leader and arranger of this disparate group is Rolf Delfos, originating grom Leiden, who is also a saxophonist and teacher at the Royal Conservatoire and well known as leader of the ‘Licks and Brains’ big band. The student musicians comprise two vocalists, a drummer, keyboard player, guitarist, bass player and three playing wind instruments (saxophone, trumpet and trombone). The music will be an exciting mix of soulfunk, disco and South American rhythms – a real ‘groove explosion’, certainly suitable for all ages. The concert begins at 20.00 hrs in het Cultureel Centrum, Prinse Marijkelaan 4. Cost of entry: 7 euros. Donors, sponsors and minors (18 and under) free.
