PJPJ jazz concert on Saturday February 19 in the Cultureel Centrum in Voorschoten

After an enforced two month break Podium Jong Professionals Jazz (PJPJ) is pleased to be organising its first jazz concert of 2022 this coming Saturday February 19th in the Cultureel Centrum in Voorschoten, starting at 19.30 hrs. Performing will be the Marcello Saracino Quartet featuring Italian Marcello himself on drums, Thorkell Ragnar Gretarsson from Iceland on guitar, Thor Jansen from Denmark on bass and ChakSeng Lam from Macao on saxophone. All four are students at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Our aim as PJPJ – and has been for the past 28 years – is provide students with the opportunity to perform to a large audience in a proper podium setting. The cost of entry is a meagre 7 euros (free for minors 18 or under) and you can also become a donor which entitles you (plus one more person) to free entry to our concerts and annual festival.

We are very confident we can now finally roll out our programme for the coming months which is;
March 19: Conservatoire Funk Combo featuring Rolf Delfos
April 10: Conservatoire Jazz Choir led by Anka Koziel
May 1: Conservatoire Big Band conducted by John Ruocco
May 21: 5th Piet Wezepoel Jazz Festival (programme to follow)
The Cultureel Centrum is located at the Prinses Marijkelaan 4 in Voorschoten, easily accessible by public transport and with free parking.
