Young singing talent at PJPJ concert in het Cultureel Centrum in
Voorschoten
Voorschoten - On Saturday November 20th young jazz singer Katrina Kabinecka will be performing with her four-piece band at the third of this season’s jazz concerts in het Cultureel Centrum, Prinses Marijkelaan 4 in Voorschoten organized by PJPJ (Podium Jong Professionals Jazz).
Katrina is from Latvia and is currently studying at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. She has already won prizes at various festivals including Riga Jazz Stage, Umbria Jazz, Saulkrasti Jazz, Swingin’ Saxonia and Ventspils Groove.
On November 20 she will be accompanied by Aseo Freisacher on piano, Snori Skulason on bass, Paul Beskers on saxophone and Prentice Povey on drums. This quintet will perform a variety of jazz originals and standards and modern compositions.
